This week, we look at the Character of God in a sermon by Timothy Dwight, born in 1752, at the tail end of the First Great Awakening. He later becomes the President of Yale. He led chapel and took the students through a series on the character and attributes of God. This led to a revival throughout the college beginning in 1795.
The more clearly we see God’s character, the more we will be humbled and the less we will think of ourselves.
